 These hardwood flutes are our most exciting new product. They are made from a modern engineered wood product constructed of thin plys of poplar 1/50" to 1/16" thick which are bonded together by a high strength, waterproof polyester resin adhesive that is FDA approved for food use. The forth outside ply is a natural exotic hardwood veneer faced so that the grain runs the length of the flute. The flutes are coated inside with a polymer resin after construction to insure that they are moisture proof. The exterior is then finished with five coats of hand rubbed laquer and completed with a fine carnuba based wax. The tone is exquisite and they are as sturdy as they are beautiful.
