The Bard's Musik ShoppeFor those of you who don't know what a renaissance festival is, they are theme parks that emulate a fourteenth century english village. Tickets are around twenty dollars for adults, usually half that for adolecents and free for young children. At all of them here are very fine craft booths, lots of fine food and drink, several stages with unique entertainment and several jousting shows throughout the day. It is impossible to see everything in one day and is truly a family event.
We start our year at the Arizona Renaissance Festival which runs consecutive weekends from the second weekend of February through the first weekend in April. It is located six miles east of apache Junction on highway 60. Discount coupons are available at Frys and Blockbusters. We are located about half way into the festival near the right hand side. Our booth number is 314.
After a few months at home in Bisbee, producing inventory, we head off to the Rocky Mountains. There we participate in the Colorado Renaissance Festival. This festival runs through June and July. It is located in Larkspur which is just off of I-25 between Denver and Colorado Springs. Our booth there is easy to locate, just turn right as you enter and keep going towards the elephant ride. We are booth 19.
In the fall we go north to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. It starts in mid August and goes through the end of September. It is located in Shakopee, fourty-five minutes Southwest of Minneapolis. Our booth there is located just past the Bad Manor Tavern at the top of the hill in "the narrows", booth 719.

It is held in Bonner Springs Kansas just a few miles west of Kansas City. Our shop at this festival is located in Mermaid Commons near the center of the faire grounds, booth 405.
